Mindful Yoga Flow

Time To Revitalise and Balance Body & Mind – “Mindfulness in Movement”.

End your week peaceful, balanced, revitalised, happy and relaxed. 75 minutes of Mindful Yoga Flow to ease you into your weekend calmly with Stephanie. This meditative, active flow deepens one’s awareness and acceptance of oneself and of the world. It engages all senses, emotions and feelings, consciously and mindfully.

Mindful yoga flow teaches how to harness the power of conscious breathing, connected with a slower paced mindful flow, timing breath to movement, letting the breath guide you. The perfect start to your weekend, boosting your inner peace, consciousness, strength and mindfulness. The essence of a nourishing yoga practice with meditative focus and deep awareness through mind/body connection. Hoping to bring you in to a journey of your own body, with no judgements, just complete acceptance of where you are right now, in this particular moment. You’ll be opening up to enjoying the journey of the “self” and awakening the soul, feeling alive!

We focus on finding calm and balance through breathing techniques and meditation, classic yoga postures and flow. This improves strength and flexibility, concentration, wellness and health. By learning how to consciously connect to our breath and encourage its natural rhythms, we can harmonise the body and mind. It also helps find emotional freedom from blockages which cause anxiety, stress, burnout, depression and disease. You’ll leave the session feeling clear, focused and empowered – a higher sense of consciousness.

What is Mindful Yoga Flow?

Mindful Yoga Flow is a style of yoga combining both Hatha and Vinyasa yoga styles. Mindful yoga flow coordinates a mindful sequence that is calming and stress-relieving. This helps stretch and strengthen the entire body. The emphasis is on building awareness of the breath and the body, connecting breathing with physical movement and flowing from one pose to the next. Postures or asanas are practiced at a slower pace with attention to alignment and detail. It helps students to regain control of their body and mind, while enjoying the calming effects of a moving meditation.

🔥 Lovely Heated Infrared Floors 🔥

Underfloor heating and warm room temperature will help to warm your surroundings, supporting removal of toxins, improving flexibility, easing muscle and joint stiffness and increasing circulation. This heat differs from radiant heat in that the heat warms the body (not the air) providing a breathable, efficient and therapeutic workout.

During the class you will build warmth internally using breath and movement with a balance of building strength and gaining flexibility through a flowing sequence. This class will give you the opportunity to challenge your mind and body mindfully, leaving you feeling a sense of openness, balance and relaxation.

Yoga is for Everyone!

The class is suitable for all levels and abilities. Peaceful Pixie Yoga strongly believes that yoga is for everybody. You don’t need to be flexible either as this is a side effect of a consistent practice, not a requirement to start or a goal in itself. It’s all about encouraging self-acceptance and deepening awareness of the mind, breath and body. No experience necessary, everybody can participate. You just have to be willing to do something good for yourself.

Peaceful Pixie Yoga

My teaching style is fun, friendly, positive and energetic with a focus on correct alignment and avoiding injury. It’s structured in a way to connect mind, heart and body with uplifting energy and emphasis on the healing roots of yoga. My intention is to share yoga in an inclusive way, providing a space for students to explore and welcome all that arises throughout their practice, in order to harness a deeper sense of awareness through mind/body connection. In my classes you will find focus on the conscious breath and how to connect it with each meditative movement. I hope to take you on a journey of your own body, with no judgements, just complete acceptance of where you are in this particular moment. This will support you to experience and enjoy the journey of ‘the self’.
