Join Stephanie for 75 minutes of an energising Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga practice for Zest and Energy. Practiced in a warm room, we focus on embodying prana energy through connecting our conscious breath to movement. It’s a combination of continually flowing, breath-led sequences and enjoying the calming effects of a moving meditation with an active flow. This deepens one’s openness and wakefulness.  Boosting your energy, mind and body into a clearer conscious state of being. Also a great cleansing flush for your internal organs. The perfect start to your day!

We focus on finding calm and balance through breathing techniques and meditation, classic yoga postures and flow, improving strength and flexibility, concentration, wellness and health.

What is Vinyasa Flow Yoga?

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a style of yoga suitable for the more active yogi. Vinyasa is both challenging and dynamic, led by breath and movement that are synchronised in a graceful, flowing sequence. Often set to uplifting music, you build strength, cardiovascular fitness and enhanced awareness of the prana energy and mind/body connection. You will experience a full body workout that will strengthen and stretch your entire body, leaving you feeling amazing, both physically and mentally!

Underfloor heating and warm room temperature will help to warm your surroundings, supporting removal of toxins, improving flexibility, easing muscle and joint stiffness and increasing circulation. This heat differs from radiant heat in that the heat warms the body (not the air) providing for a breathable, efficient and therapeutic workout.

During the class you will build heat internally using breath and movement. It’s a balance of building strength and gaining flexibility through a dynamic, flowing sequence which focuses on breath and detoxifying. This class will give you the opportunity to challenge your body and mind, leaving you feeling balanced and refreshed.

Yoga is for Everyone!

The class is suitable for all levels and abilities. Peaceful Pixie Yoga strongly believes that yoga is for everybody.You don’t need to be flexible either as this is a side effect of a consistent practice, not a requirement to start or a goal in itself. It’s all about soulful movements led by breath and tuning into your flowing prana energy. No experience necessary, everybody can participate. You just have to be willing to do something good for yourself.

What do I need to Bring?

Please wear comfortable, stretch clothing. All yoga equipment is provided.

What time do I Arrive?

The studio opens 15 mins before a class starts. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your class start time. Please let the Yoga Teacher know before the class if you have any medical conditions or injuries.

Peaceful Pixie Yoga

My teaching style is fun, friendly, positive and energetic with a focus on correct alignment and avoiding injury. It’s structured in a way to connect mind, heart and body with uplifting energy and emphasis on the healing roots of yoga. My intention is to share yoga in an inclusive way, providing a space for students to explore and welcome all that arises throughout their practice, in order to harness a deeper sense of awareness through mind/body connection. In my classes you will find focus on the conscious breath and how to connect it with each meditative movement. I hope to take you on a journey of your own body, with no judgements, just complete acceptance of where you are in this particular moment. This will support you to experience and enjoy the journey of ‘the self’.​
